Bible Study classes for everyone meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. Women’s and Men’s Bible Study classes meet on Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m. We even have a Facebook Live Bible Study on Wednesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. Find a place to get plugged in. God wants us to hide His word in our heart so we will know how to live and honor Him. Gloria or Andrew can help you find a place.

Backpack Ministry
Thank you, Church, for your generosity during the first half of this school year. Because of you, we have been able to bless hundreds of kids in the Pattonville School district with some healthy and easy-prep meal options.
We ask that you hold off on food donations for the Backpack Ministry for a while, as we are STOCKED to the brim! What a great problem to have! After the new year, we will reevaluate our stock and let you know when donations can start back up again.
Angel Tree
The tradition of blessing others at Christmas continues here at Fee Fee. This season is always one when we need to remember others. Once again, we will have the Angel Tree, where we provide gifts for those in our church and community. After Thanksgiving, there will be a tree in the Welcome Center with beautiful handmade ornaments. Select an ornament or two, buy the gift indicated on the ornament and bring back the wrapped gift with the ornament taped to the package to make someone’s Christmas just a little brighter and to pass on the love of Jesus!

Devotional Corner – Vol. 61, No. 23
Taken from Bob Goff’s “Everybody, Always”
“When Jesus came to Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples this question: “What are the people saying about me, the Son of Man? Who do they believe I am?” (Matthew 16:13 ).
One of the stories God tells in the Bible is much simpler than we sometimes make it. Jesus was with a few of His friends and He asked them who people thought He was. These friends had heard several different stories about who Jesus was. One person said Jesus was really a man named John who had been a friend of His. Another person said He was actually a person named Elijah, and someone else said He was someone named Jeremiah. These last two great men had lived much earlier. Jesus pressed His friends a little further and asked them who they thought He was.
It must have felt like a funny question for Jesus to ask His friends who had been with Him for a few years already. Peter spoke up first and said He thought Jesus was God. Jesus told him this wasn’t the kind of thing Peter could have figured out just because someone told him what to think. Instead, He said it’s something Peter would have only known because God told him. Jesus then told His friends something even more puzzling. He told them not to tell anyone who He was. At first this seems to go against the grain of the evangelistic model many of us have been exposed to, but I don’t think He was trying to keep His identity a secret. Just the opposite. Jesus probably wanted us to show people who He is by what we do, not just tell them what we think. . . .
I’ve sometimes thought I’d make a lousy evangelist because I don’t think we lead people to Jesus. I think Jesus leads people to Jesus. Sure, we can tell the people we meet about Jesus. I talk about Him all the time because my life is His, but I don’t try to talk people into Him. When I’ve tried and it worked, what I often found is I’d led people to me, not Him. If we take Jesus at His word, people won’t know who Jesus is because we’ve told them; they’ll know because Jesus let them know. If you’re already friends with Jesus, don’t get in everyone else’s way as they figure it out with Him. If you’ve only heard of Him, ask Him who He is. I bet He’ll let you know.

Prime Time – Vol. 61, No. 23
Thanks to those of you who went with me to serve at the St. Louis Area Food Bank last week. It was great to serve alongside you as we pursued the good of our community. I am planning on having the Prime Timers serve at least two times a year. I hope you will join us next time! I would also like to hear from you if you know of any other service opportunities that we might participate in. There is no mention of retirement in the Bible and we need to continue to serve the LORD until we go to see Him face to face!
We have a good group signed up to go to Old Town St. Charles for Christmas on December 4. Please sign up if you are going. Lunch will be at Lewis and Clark’s, followed by watching the parade and meeting a Santa representing every nation. There are bonfires, freshly baked cookies at Grandma’s Cookies, carolers, carriage rides, and a variety of shops to visit. The bus will leave church at 10:30 a.m. for lunch at 11:00 a.m. at Lewis and Clark’s. It will certainly put you in the Christmas spirit!
Speaking of Christmas spirit – we need to remember the greatest gift the world has ever received. We give gifts to others because God gave us the gift of Jesus. Our annual Angel Tree is a great way to share the love of Jesus (see details below)!

Blood Drive
You can save a life by signing up to donate blood at our next Blood Drive on Friday, December 3 from 1:00 to 6:00 pm. Dominican Republic Trip Informational Meeting
We are hopeful and excited about finally going back to serve alongside our partner church in the Dominican Republic in the summer of 2022! There is an informational meeting for that trip on Sunday, December 5 immediately following the 2nd service in the Dining Hall. If you feel led to be a part of this mission trip, join us at the meeting to find out more information.

Chi Alpha News – Vol. 61, No. 22
Youth Paintball
Our paintball event is coming up on Saturday, November 13. We will be heading to Wacky Warriors in Wentzville for a day of fun! We will leave church at 9:00 a.m. and should return around 2:00 p.m. Cost to play is $20. Students will need to bring extra money for a fast-food lunch afterwards, and if they want to purchase additional paintball rounds on top of what is already covered in the cost. No Youth November 24
We won’t be meeting for youth group on Wednesday, November 24, so you can mentally prepare to eat tons of turkey and pie and enjoy some family time on Thanksgiving Day! Stay home, get some rest, and just enjoy the season of thankfulness.

A Word From Pastor Zach – Vol. 61, No. 22
Church Family,
I wanted to take the opportunity to share with you a few events that we have coming up in the month of November. Prayerfully, you can be a part of some of these events as we look to build our lives on Jesus and pursue the good of our community.
First of all, we will be having our annual Trivia Night Fundraiser for our Youth Ministry on Saturday, November 6. This is a major way that our students raise support for their annual mission trip. In the summer of 2022, our students are going to be serving in our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. I want to encourage you to be a part of this Trivia Night. There will also be a silent auction in conjunction to trivia. It is a great way to have a lot of fun and support missions at the same time!
Second, Wednesday, November 17, we have a great opportunity to enjoy some good food and fellowship as we will have our annual Wednesday night Family Thanksgiving Dinner. Before our Wednesday night activities take place, we will have a dinner from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome, but we do need you to sign up in the Connection Center by November 10. The meal does not have a set cost, but donations will be accepted. We are excited to enjoy a meal together as we celebrate Thanksgiving! Sign up for a good meal, and then stick around for our Men’s or Women’s Bible Studies, or AWANA or youth for our kids and students!
Then, on Sunday, November 21, we are going to have our first Starting Point event. Right after our 11:00 a.m. service, we are going to have a class for new and prospective members in the Dining Room. We will provide lunch and then share a lot of good information about what our church is about for those who are interested in becoming members and getting more involved. I want to encourage you to consider coming to the event if you want to understand what meaningful membership looks like here at Fee Fee. Even if you have been attending for a while, I think it would be great to get connected and learn more about the mission and vision of our church. We want everyone who attends our church to get connected as we serve the Lord together. Sign up in the Connection Center!
In November, we are often intentional about thanking God for his many blessings. I’m so thankful for this church and the ways that God is working in and through Fee Fee. Please join me in praying for these different events this month. Pray that God will use them to bring us together into deeper fellowship with Him and with one another!

Backpack Ministry
One of the more rewarding ministries at Fee Fee Baptist Church is our Backpack Ministry. This ministry provides a bag of easy-prep foods for school-aged children in our school district. We want to make it as easy as possible for these kids to eat a nutritious and filling meal when they aren’t at school. But we can’t do this without you, Church! We need donations of granola bars, snack crackers, macaroni & cheese, fruit cups, applesauce cups, canned pasta, rice cups, single-serve snacks or meals, and other easy-prep meals. You may leave these items in the Donation Center in the section marked “Backpack Ministry.” Alternatively, you can have these items shipped from any big box store to the church:

OCC Boxes
The Operation Christmas Child boxes are available! Every year thousands of these boxes are sent to children all over the world each with special Christmas gifts and Gospel materials for children. Each box has instructions inside for what to buy and how to ship them. Make sure to pick up your box (or 2, or more!), fill it, and bring it back by November 17 to make an impact in our world this Christmas season!
Starting Point
For our new or prospective members, we want to invite you to Starting Point on Sunday, November 21. Immediately following the 2nd service that day we will have lunch and then talk through what it means to be a member of the church and how you can connect here! Parents’ Night Out
PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT is back again Friday, December 10, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Bring your kids – ages 2 years old through 5th grade – for a fun night with friends and shopping in our free Christmas store while parents have a night out for only $5 per child. Pizza will be provided for supper for kids and workers. Sign-up sheets will be available next month. Donations for new items to offer in the Christmas store are welcome anytime. Thank you!
