Hymn of the MonthO For a Thousand Tongues to Sing

O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing was written by Charles Wesley in 1739 to commemorate the first anniversary of his conversion. The hymn was inspired by a remark from his friend, Peter Bohler: “If I had a thousand tongues, I would praise Christ with them all.” Listen to the following arrangement of this beautiful hymn: https://youtu.be/4umCYumsB0g

Place Choir in Your Future!
  1. Choir will give you an opportunity to serve.
  2. You will help produce good congregational singing.
  3. You will share the joy of the music.
  4. Be part of diversity. We need all kinds of voices. It is God honoring for multi-cultural fellowship. The choir needs to reflect ALL ages working together.

Our choir needs laborers. Come and sing in our 8:30 a.m. service. When the choir exits – go have breakfast and return for Bible study and 11:00 a.m. worship. You will be blessed and more importantly you will be a blessing!  Rehearsals are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Monday evenings. Also, it would be possible to get score copies and rehearsal recordings. There is “a place in the choir” for you. Listen to the following:
