Promotion Sunday/Youth & Family BBQ
On Sunday, August 22, our incoming 6th graders will be joining us for the first time in youth group! This is always an exciting time in the life of our youth, as new faces come in, but it is also a time where new leaders are formed. After the second service that morning, the youth and their families are invited to join us in the courtyard for a BBQ, games, and a time to enjoy the end of summer, and also get familiar with the new faces of our group. Sarah Baker – THANK YOU!!!
We are quickly approaching a bittersweet time that we all knew was coming. In just a few weeks, our Summer Intern, Sarah Baker, will be leaving to go back to Kirksville, MO and finish her undergrad. Sarah has faithfully served our youth as the Summer Intern for the last 3 years, and this year is unfortunately her last. We will miss having her over the summers, but we are so excited to see where God takes her in her ministry. We are so blessed to have had her building relationships and serving with our students. If you see her, please take time to thank her for all of her hard work she has given to this group of students!
