  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 61, No. 3

    I hope each of you are doing the Grounded reading plan with me! We are already in John. It’s so interesting to read all four Gospels in rapid succession to get a complete picture of Jesus. If you would like to talk with others about what you are reading, please contact Zach or Gloria and we will put you in a Transformation Group.

    I also hope you are involved in a Bible Study! We have both in-person and online studies on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Please contact Gloria gloria@feefeebc.org, if you would like to get connected.

  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 61, No. 2

    It’s not too late to join a virtual transformation group as we read through the New Testament using the Grounded reading plan. Contact Gloria or Pastor Zach if you are interested.

    Adult Bible Studies are available for men and women on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:00 p.m. They are both in person and on Zoom.

  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 61, No. 1

    We are continuing to offer both in-person and virtual Bible Studies on Sundays at 9:45 a.m. Both women’s and men’s Bible Studies have resumed on Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m. The women are meeting both in person and on Zoom. If you are interested in joining either group, contact Gloria@feefeebc.org.

    Christmas Generosity

    Thank you again for your wonderful generosity to our church and community. You provided 53 coats for both kids and adults, and provided families with a total of 191 Christmas gifts. Showing this kind of love for others is exactly what shows others the love of Christ.

  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 60, No. 21

    All Bible Study classes have the opportunity to resume on Sunday, November 1 at 9:45 a.m.

    I know that some classes will continue to meet on Zoom while others will choose to have in-person Bible Study. If your class is continuing on Zoom, please feel free to ask me where you might join an in-person class.

    If your class decides to meet in person and you don’t feel comfortable coming back just yet, let me know and I will find you a virtual class.

    While it is tricky navigating these changes, we still have and will find a place for everyone. We need to stay in community either virtually or in person around the Living Word of God. Email gloria@feefeebc.org and for a place to plug in.

    We currently have three groups meeting for Bible Study on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m., in compliance with the St. Louis county mandate for gathering size. We hope you are involved in either an in-person or virtual Bible study each week. We also have groups meeting on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. These opportunities are on the church website or contact Gloria at gloria@feefeebc.org.

  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 60, No. 19

    If you are comfortable, please join a men’s or women’s, youth or children’s Bible Study on Wednesday night from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There is something for everyone.

    The men’s fraternity is meeting in B4.

    The women are studying the Patriarchs by Beth Moore in C112. This study is also available on Zoom. Send Gloria your email if you would like to join virtually.

    Youth and Children’s Bible Studies are detailed under the appropriate section of the Forerunner.

    You can also attend an in-person Bible Study on Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m.

    The international class is meeting in B4. Adult 5 is meeting in the Dining Room and is led by Dave and Donna Potts. Doug Monasmith is leading a study of Genesis in the Chapel.  And Gloria Fox is taking a look at the Jewishness of Jesus and how understanding this enriches the scripture.

    Let me know if you would like to attend a Bible Study but are unsure of the schedule. We currently have three socially distanced Bible Study classes meeting in person on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. Simply make your one-time reservation at feefeebc.org/socially-distanced-bible-study/

    Virtual classes are also still being offered.

    In addition, all Wednesday night activities will resume on September 9. There are classes for kids, youth, men, and women from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. It is not too late to join! Contact Gloria for exact times and locations at gloria@feefeebc.org or text 314-604-6071.

    Zoom Zoom!

    We are Zooming away on Sunday mornings for Bible Study every week at 10:00 a.m., and you’re invited! The link and passcode have been sent out to all parents and leaders, but if you are missing it, shoot me an email, (kyle@feefeebc.org) and I will gladly send it your way!

    After School Study Program

    Starting Tuesday, September 8, we will be offering an opportunity for all of our Chi Alpha students to come up to the church and get some serious studying done. With school being moved to an online format for the majority of our students, it is so important to keep some social interactions available for them. We will have a few leaders and volunteers at the church to offer students some extra help with schoolwork and give encouragement to those who may need it. We will be meeting every Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the gym and students can come and go as they please. Make sure they take advantage of this awesome opportunity and crucial resource to study in a different environment, but also continue to build great community together!

    We are in the process of trying to work out ways to meet again on Sunday mornings without violating the St. Louis County mandates. Updates to come soon. In the meantime, hide His word in your heart! You will be blessed.

  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 60, No. 14

    This is what God has to say about His word in Isaiah 55:10-11 (CSB): “For just as rain and snow fall from heaven and do not return there without saturating the earth and making it germinate and sprout, and providing seed to sow and food to eat, so my word that comes from my mouth will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish what I please and will prosper in what I send it to do.”
