    Underground Church

I am so excited to bring back one of my favorite events this summer, Underground Church. Not only is this night a fun, intense game to play, but it is also an immersive experience for our students to see what it is like to be a Christian in a country that is closed to spreading the Gospel. There are more than 50 countries all over the world that are closed off to the Gospel, so it is important to not only understand the freedoms that we have, to worship, but also to realize that it is our job as Christians to spread the Gospel to all ends of the earth. Underground Church will take place Friday, July 22 from 8:00-11:00 p.m. here at the church. There is no cost to this event, but we will be taking donations to fill Action Packs to send to missionaries in these closed-off locations through Voice of the Martyrs. Here is a list of some items we will be collecting:

    • Blankets
    • Jackets (adult or child size)
    • Light sweaters (adult or child)
    • Gloves or mittens
    • Knit hats
    • Socks (adult or child)
    • Solid color t-shirts (adult or child)
    • Twin size bed sheets
    • New tarps
    • Packs of zip ties
    • Towels
    • Bars of soap
    • Sponge or foam balls (for children)

    Middle School Mini Golf Night!

On Tuesday, July 12, all current middle schoolers and incoming 6th graders are welcome to join us for our Middle School Mini Golf Night! We will be heading to Aloha Mini Golf and Shaved Ice in Valley Park for a fun night of all-you-can-play mini golf (and obviously some shaved ice, too)! We will leave the church that night at 6:00 p.m. and will return at 9:00 p.m. Cost is just $5/person for this super fun night! Sign up in the Rafters so we know you’re coming. We hope to see you there!

    Washington D.C. Trip

Thank you, church, for all your prayers this week while we were in Washington DC! Trips like this are not possible without a church family supporting us from back home. I consider myself blessed every day to get the opportunity to lead these students, and I am even more thankful to be a part of a church that supports local, domestic, and international missions the way Fee Fee does. If you see one of our students or leaders who had the opportunity to go this year, I hope you will stop and ask them about their experience! I also hope that their stories and experiences will encourage and challenge you to serve in your local community. There is a lot of work to be done here in Bridgeton, and God is calling YOU to do it! So don’t hesitate to His calling!

Youth Family & Friends Cardinals Game

We still have tickets left for our trip to the Cardinals game coming up on June 29! Tickets are just $10/person, but you will need to provide your own transportation to the stadium. You can purchase tickets on the Microsoft Form that was emailed out at the beginning of the month. If you cannot find that, or need it resent to you, email kyle@feefeebc.org. Invite your friends and family members for this super fun night at the ballpark!

    Promotion Sunday/Youth & Family BBQ

On Sunday, August 22, our incoming 6th graders will be joining us for the first time in youth group! This is always an exciting time in the life of our youth, as new faces come in, but it is also a time where new leaders are formed. After the second service that morning, the youth and their families are invited to join us in the courtyard for a BBQ, games, and a time to enjoy the end of summer, and also get familiar with the new faces of our group. You can sign up in the Rafters or shoot Kyle a message. We hope you will join us!

    Sarah Baker – THANK YOU!!!

We are quickly approaching a bittersweet time that we all knew was coming. In just a few weeks, our Summer Intern, Sarah Baker, will be leaving to go back to Kirksville, MO and finish her undergrad. Sarah has faithfully served our youth as the Summer Intern for the last 3 years, and this year is unfortunately her last. We will miss having her over the summers, but we are so excited to see where God takes her in her ministry. We are so blessed to have had her building relationships and serving with our students. If you see her, please take time to thank her for all of her hard work she has given to this group of students!

    DNOW

Thank you so much, Church, for your support of DNOW this past weekend! This weekend was not possible without your generosity, prayer, and support of our youth ministry. We had 30 students this weekend, 11 of which were friends brought by our students. They all learned together about how to live in the world without the filters that the world places on us, and instead how to live more like Jesus. I am so excited to see how God will use this weekend in the lives of our students moving forward!

Please continue to pray for our team as we work with the local church and community that relationships can be built and lives will be focused on Jesus. Thank you so much for your continued support of our student ministry and their passion for missions!
