  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 62, No. 15

    We have a place for everyone in Bible Study! We have adult classes on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m., kids and youth classes on Sundays at 9:45 a.m.

    We also have online Bible study Wednesday morning at 9 on Facebook live. In addition there are T-groups and Marco Polo groups that meet on a schedule determined by the group.

    Starting September 14, our Midweek Activities resume for everyone. Here are the many ways you can get involved:

    • AWANA for kids (pre-K – 5th grade)
    • Youth Small Groups (grades 6-12)
    • Women’s Bible Study
    • Men’s Bible Study

    All of these opportunities are at 6:00 p.m. every Wednesday from September through May. Put all of these times on your calendar; you don’t want to miss any of them – there is something for everyone in the family! Email Gloria gloria@feefeebc.org or text (314) 604-6071 to get connected!

  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 62, No. 13

    What an exciting part of scripture we have come to in our Summer Bible Reading Plan. It has been inspiring to watch Elijah challenge the people to quit wavering between two opinions and to wholeheartedly follow God, who demonstrated his power on Mount Carmel and to see Elisha meet the needs of people through the never-ending supply of God’s love to all people. You can talk to others about what you are reading by joining a T-group. T-groups meet in person or on Marco Polo. Contact Gloria if you are interested.

  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 62, No. 12

    Do you know someone who comes to worship but doesn’t come to Bible Study? Invite them to come with you. Bible study is a great way to build relationships with others as well as build your relationship with Jesus.

    While there are no Wednesday night Bible studies during the summer, except for youth, there are plenty of opportunities on Sunday morning. Contact Gloria if you would like to attend a Bible Study: gloria@feefeebc.org.

  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 62, No. 11

    As COVID subsides, I would like to encourage those of you in T-groups who have been meeting on Marco Polo, to start meeting in person again. There is something so special about meeting together – a connection that cannot be made using a screen. I currently have a new group of 3 women looking for 2 more women to join. I would love to get flooded with so many requests from new members that we have to have multiple groups!

    For those who may not know, T-groups are groups of 3-5 men or 3-5 women who meet together weekly, to talk about what God is showing them in Scripture, encourage one another, hold each other accountable, and pray for one another. Your group chooses a time and place to meet weekly. Get creative!

    I would also like to encourage formation of new small groups or the resurrection of old ones. Again, we need the support of in-person interaction with other Christians, and if you meet in homes, it’s a great place to invite your neighbors.   • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 62, No. 10

    Pick up a bookmark or reading plan from the Connection Center for our Summer/Fall Bible Reading Plan, which covers 1 & 2 Kings and 1 & 2 Chronicles. We have read all of the New Testament, Isaiah, and from Genesis through 2 Samuel together. If you have not participated, it is not too late to start now.

    I want to encourage those of you doing T-groups to start meeting in person. I know some of you love your Marco Polo groups but there is nothing better than the interaction you have when meeting together face to face.

    I would also like to see small groups beginning to resume. If you need materials or suggestions of how to get this going, contact Gloria. You can meet in homes or the church. If you want to meet in the church, one person in the group will need to schedule that on the church calendar but contacting the church office (314) 739-1525.

    I hope more and more of you will join us for Bible Study on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. Our numbers continue to grow each week. Remember that all adults are invited to Family Connection Sunday during Bible Study on April 24. You can learn how to encourage children spiritually whether you are a parent, grandparent, or an adult in the church family.

    There is a place for everyone in Bible Study. Join us on Sundays at 9:45 a.m., Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m., Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m., or on Facebook Live on Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. Hide God’s Word in your heart. It will bring you great joy!

    Bible Study numbers are increasing each week as Covid numbers continue to fall. We have places for everyone in Bible Study on Sundays at 9:45 a.m. and Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. Talk to Gloria if you want to get connected.

    While we continue to read through the Bible together, I would like to encourage you to start a T-Group and meet in person one hour a week talking about what God has shown you in the scripture you have been reading. Meet in a park or on someone’s patio, or a coffee shop. It’s a great way to build spiritual connections with others and to hold each other accountable for studying scripture.     It’s exciting to see our Bible Study numbers growing again! If you haven’t been to a Sunday morning Bible Study before, our church has a lot to offer.     We also have Bible Studies on Wednesday night for men and women from 6:00-7:30 p.m., a Bible Study on Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m., and an online Bible Study on Facebook Live on Wednesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. (which is later posted on our website). With so many opportunities, we hope you will join us!
