  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 60, No. 25

  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 60, No. 24

    Are you ready to go on an adventure together? Starting January 4, the entire church will be reading all of the New Testament together using a reading plan entitled Grounded. I hope you will join us. You can either read along on your own or you can join a virtual discussion group via Marco Polo. More details to come!

  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 60, No. 23

    Adult Bible study will continue online during the month of December. However, there will also be three in person classes meeting on the church campus on Sundays at 9:45 a.m.  Each participant should wear a mask and socially distance. You can join the Potts in the Dining Room, Doug Monasmith in the Fellowship Hall, or Scott Knepper in C112.

    Studies indicate that being engaged with scripture four times a week will be life changing. Find a way to stay involved! If you need direction on where and how to plug in, contact Gloria: gloria@feefeebc.org.

  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 60, No. 21

    All Bible Study classes have the opportunity to resume on Sunday, November 1 at 9:45 a.m.

    I know that some classes will continue to meet on Zoom while others will choose to have in-person Bible Study. If your class is continuing on Zoom, please feel free to ask me where you might join an in-person class.

    If your class decides to meet in person and you don’t feel comfortable coming back just yet, let me know and I will find you a virtual class.

    While it is tricky navigating these changes, we still have and will find a place for everyone. We need to stay in community either virtually or in person around the Living Word of God. Email gloria@feefeebc.org and for a place to plug in.

  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 60, No. 20

    We currently have three groups meeting for Bible Study on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m., in compliance with the St. Louis county mandate for gathering size. We hope you are involved in either an in-person or virtual Bible study each week. We also have groups meeting on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. These opportunities are on the church website or contact Gloria at gloria@feefeebc.org.

  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 60, No. 19

    If you are comfortable, please join a men’s or women’s, youth or children’s Bible Study on Wednesday night from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There is something for everyone.

    The men’s fraternity is meeting in B4.

    The women are studying the Patriarchs by Beth Moore in C112. This study is also available on Zoom. Send Gloria your email if you would like to join virtually.

    Youth and Children’s Bible Studies are detailed under the appropriate section of the Forerunner.

    You can also attend an in-person Bible Study on Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m.

    The international class is meeting in B4. Adult 5 is meeting in the Dining Room and is led by Dave and Donna Potts. Doug Monasmith is leading a study of Genesis in the Chapel.  And Gloria Fox is taking a look at the Jewishness of Jesus and how understanding this enriches the scripture.

  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 60, No. 18

    Let me know if you would like to attend a Bible Study but are unsure of the schedule. We currently have three socially distanced Bible Study classes meeting in person on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. Simply make your one-time reservation at feefeebc.org/socially-distanced-bible-study/

    Virtual classes are also still being offered.

    In addition, all Wednesday night activities will resume on September 9. There are classes for kids, youth, men, and women from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. It is not too late to join! Contact Gloria for exact times and locations at gloria@feefeebc.org or text 314-604-6071.

  • Bible Study Corner – Vol. 60, No. 17

    Thanks to each and every one of our teachers who have found a way to continue Bible Study. We have had several requests for meeting in person so we will roll out this option on Sunday, September 6 at 9:45–10:45 a.m. While this is not meant to replace your existing Sunday School class, it is an option for those who would like to attend a Bible Study in person at this time.

    The Options are as follows:

    • Dave and Donna Potts will be leading a study in the Dining Room using the dated Lifeway Curriculum – “Through the Bible.”
    • Doug Monasmith will be leading a study on the book of Genesis in the Chapel.
    • Gloria Fox will be taking “A Fresh Look at Jesus,” by seeing His life from a Jewish perspective in the Fellowship Hall.

    Again, these are in-person studies for a limited time at the church and are not meant to replace your current Bible Study class that is on Zoom or some other method. Due to limited capacities, reserve your spot by signing up for classes on our website.

    In addition, in-person Men’s and Women’s Bible studies will begin on Wednesday, September 9 from 6:00–7:00 p.m.

    Women’s Bible study will be resuming the Beth Moore study of the Patriarchs beginning with Jacob. Men’s Fraternity will be continuing with their study.

    Children will also be meeting on Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Kathy will provide more details to our families on what the children’s hour will encompass.

    Looking forward to seeing you in Bible Study, even if it is in an abbreviated way.

    We are in the process of trying to work out ways to meet again on Sunday mornings without violating the St. Louis County mandates. Updates to come soon. In the meantime, hide His word in your heart! You will be blessed.
