Fee Fee Youth                                        Jonathan Ajdukovich,  NextGen Pastor

These first few weeks among you have been such a gift. I truly thank the Lord for the way He has welcomed me into this body, and for the kindness, encouragement, and love you have so freely shown. It has been a joy to begin getting to know you, and I am deeply grateful for how well I have been received.

My prayer for us as a church is simple but foundational; that each day we would remember and rejoice in our first love, the Lord Jesus Christ. As we are exhorted in Scripture, may we never drift from Him, but instead be continually captivated by His grace and goodness. And as our lives are shaped by that love, may those around us be drawn to know and follow our King, Jesus.

As I continue settling in, I would truly love the opportunity to get to know each of you better. Please don’t hesitate to come say hello on a Sunday morning, invite me to grab coffee or a meal, or even welcome me into your home or family activities. It would be my joy to spend that time together.

Regarding our Youth Ministry, we will continue meeting on Wednesday nights through May 13. After that, we will take a short break for the remainder of May and June. More details will be shared soon as we look ahead to camp and our schedule from July through December.

  • Fee Fee Youth, Vol. 66, No. 4, April 2026

The season of spring is always exciting for me, feeling the warm sunshine once again and seeing all the flowers outside starting to pop up and bloom.  God truly created a masterpiece!  This particular spring is extra exciting for our youth because Jonathan Ajdukovich has officially joined Fee Fee as our new NextGen Pastor!  We hope that you will join us in welcoming him into our Fee Fee family.  Please be in prayer for him as he begins planting roots here in St. Louis and eases into his new role.

Heading into April, the youth on Sunday mornings will continue their study on the life of David while the youth on Wednesday evenings will continue their journey through the book of Matthew.  As always, we hope to see all of our middle- and highschoolers up in the Rafters for these Bible studies, and we encourage them to keep spreading the word to their friends as well.  Let’s grow in our faith together!

Mark your calendars!  I know that for many families, summer plans have already begun.  I want to share the youth summer camp dates again so you can plan accordingly.  This year, the youth are participating in the Highland Lakes Centrifuge Camp near Martinsville, IN from June 8-12.  Attending will be a great way to grow closer to God and your fellow youth group members while having lots of fun so please stay tuned for more information!

  • Fee Fee Youth, Vol. 66, No. 3, March 2026

Whew!  February practically flew by, and what an exciting month it was for the youth as they anticipated meeting and voting on a new NextGen Pastor!  We have been praying for our future NextGen Pastor for months, and it’s exciting to know that each day brings us closer to his arrival!  Please continue to pray for our youth and youth leaders during this transitional period.

Due to some scheduling constraints in February, the youth ice skating trip is actually happening on Sunday, March 1st!  The youth are meeting at the church at 2pm and then heading over to the Creve Coeur Ice Arena.  We should return to the church by 4:30pm.  It’s sure to be a fun afternoon out so please let Kristin, Scott, or Vicki know if you can join us!

Heading into March, the youth on Sunday mornings will be studying the life of David from out of the Old Testament.  Then, on Wednesday evenings, we’ll changeover to the New Testament as we delve into the book of Matthew.  We hope to see all our middle- and highschoolers up in the Rafters for these Bible studies.  Invite your friends as well so we can all learn and grow together!

Here are just a few last things to make note of for this month.  First, there will be no Wednesday night Bible Study on March 18th due to Spring Break.  (Enjoy your extra night off!)  And second, we are looking to line up an additional event for later in March, so please stay tuned for more information regarding that!

  • Fee Fee Youth, Vol. 66, No. 2, February 2026

First off, the youth want to thank our church family once again for your faithful giving that made our Youth Fun Day possible.  We had so many students attend that we couldn’t all fit on board the church buses!  What an awesome “problem” to encounter!  It was great to hear the laughter and see all the connections forming as the youth tackled the obstacle courses, battled it out in laser tag, and even just chatted on the drives to and from our destinations.  God is clearly working to grow our community of believers up in the Rafters, and we ask for continued prayers for our youth, youth leaders, and our future NextGen Pastor.

Looking ahead to February, the youth on Sunday mornings will be continuing our study of the life of David.  Then, on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm, we will be wrapping up our Galatians Bible study.  We invite all middle- and highschoolers to join us for these Bible study sessions, and of course, we encourage you to bring your friends.

Kicking off our events for February is our Super Bowl Potluck Party!  We’d like to invite all the youth AND their families to join us up in the Rafters on February 8 at 5 pm for the Big Game (or just to hang) and ask that you bring along a snack, appetizer, or dessert to share.  We’ll handle the drinks.

Later in February, our crew will be heading to the Creve Coeur Ice Rink to try our hand at ice skating.  (2030 Winter Olympics here we come!  LOL!)  Please be on the lookout for more details about this event up in the Rafters.

  • Fee Fee Youth, Vol. 66, No. 1, January 2026

Happy New Year!  At the time of this writing, the youth of Fee Fee are preparing to send 2025 off with a bang, a Youth Fun Day on Monday, Dec. 29th!  We’ll be meeting at church at 9:30 am before heading to Amp Up Action Park for some laser tag and go-karts.  Afterwards, we’ll enjoy lunch at Chick-fil-A and then spend the rest of the afternoon at Sky Zone, before returning to church at 5:00 pm.  Thanks to the faithful giving and support of our church family, this event is free to all youth!  We are so grateful for this opportunity to have fun and grow closer together.  Middle- and highschoolers, we hope you all can join us!  Please see Scott Knepper or Kristin Simpson for more information.

As we step into this new year, please keep our youth and youth leaders in your prayers.  May this transitional period between youth pastors be one of both spiritual and personal growth for all who step foot through our Rafter doors.  Coming up on Sunday mornings in the Rafters, the youth will be wrapping up our Praying For Keeps Bible study then delving into a new series on the life of David.  Then, on Wednesday nights, we will be continuing our dive into the book of Galatians.

Our first big event of 2026 will be our trip to Winter Jam at the Family Arena on January 17th!  It will be an awesome time of worshipping together with music from some amazing Christian artists including Chris Tomlin, Matthew West, Katy Nichole, Hulvey, and more!  You won’t want to miss it!

  • Fee Fee Youth, Vol. 65, No. 12, December 2025

This holiday season, the youth group has much to be thankful for!  For starters, we are thankful for you, our church family, for supporting us at our Youth Trivia Night in November!  We were excited to revive this event, and we hope that you enjoyed the opportunity to gather with friends and family for a little friendly competition. We are also thrilled to have welcomed many new faces to both our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening Bible studies!   We hope to see this growth continue as our youth boldly invite their friends to church with them.

Coming up in December, the youth on Sunday mornings will be working through the Bible study Praying for Keeps, and then, on Wednesday evenings, we will be continuing our walk through the book of Galatians.  Please be praying for the youth leaders as we go about teaching and working to build a strong sense of community within our youth group.

Our final Wednesday night gathering for 2025 is December 17th!   This will be the night of our youth Christmas Party, complete with hot chocolate, a Christmas movie, and more!  If you are a middle- or highschooler, we hope to see you there!  Don’t forget to bring a friend!
